How Did Mrs. D.A. Fasoyin Become The Choir Leader Of C.A.C. Good Women Choir Ibadan?
Before 1976 when C.A.C. Good Women Central Choir, Ibadan and District celebrate their First Choir Anniversary at C.A.C. Church, Olugbode in Ibadan. The Executive of C.A.C. Good Women Association double as leaders of both the Association and the Choir. But on the Choir’s First Anniversary day, a Choir Leader was selected/appointed to lead the Choir by “Divine Selection”
According to Mama D.A. Fasoyin, on that fateful day, all the Choir members lined up in front of the Church to enter in a procession as is the custom in all C.A.C. Churches during Anniversary day. Then the usher gave her the pamphlet containing the order of programme for the day and WAO! She saw her name included in the programme as Choir LEADER. In her words, she nearly fainted because nobody consulted or notify or inform her prior to that day. So this is an indication that the Choir leadership was ordained by God. Glory! Halleluyah!!
